Industry chieftains applaud new logo of Association
Industry chieftains in insurance and pension sectors have applauded the unveiling of new logo for the association from National Association of Insurance and Pension Correspondents (NAIPCO) to Nigerian Association of Insurance and Pension Editors (NAIPE).
Top industry executives who witnessed the unveiling of the new logo in Lagos during the 7th National Conference of the Association, acknowledged that it would strengthen and showcase the positive role of the media in propagating appropriate information about insurance and pension sectors to the public in the country.
For instance, the Chairman of the conference who unveiled the new identity of the association, Dr. Cyril Ajagu, said that the new identity was long overdue for change in view of challenges in the business environment.
He said: “NAIPCO has come a long way having made impressive
mark in the reportage of insurance and pension sectors. Therefore, we are not surprise as we are witnessing a rebranding to NAIPE.
“Surfice to say that the change of identity was long overdue and couldn’t have come at a better time as this will encourage and propel members of the association for more insight in moving the insurance and pension sectors forward.”
Also, the Chief Executive of Pension Fund Operators Association of Nigeria (PenOp), Oguche Agudah, congratulated NAIPE on the transformation which came with a logo change, stating that members of the Association have distinguished themselves in the field of journalism in what they understand better in the sectors.
Said he, “Indeed with this new identity, NAIPE has shown that the association was ready to move higher and higher in the insurance and pension reportage to continue to enlighten the public on the benefits of the sectors as security to life and economy.
“I congratulate you all on this enviable milestone,” Oguche said.
Similarly, the President of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, (CIIN), Edwin Igbiti, noted that the identity of a group goes a long way in showing the outlook snd potential of the group.
According to him, “The logo of any establishment symbolises the vision and mission of the entity. The new logo of NAIPE would signify hard work, commitment, truthfulness and fairness. I wish you well going forward.”
Also, the Deputy Director, Corporate Communications and Market Development, National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), Razaaq Salami, noted that the new logo signifies positivity.
He said: “I commend NAIPE on this great milestone achieved today as the new identity signifies strength and hard-work. I therefore urge you to be committed in giving out unbiased news to the general public.”
