NAICOM seeks partnership with Police to enforce compulsory insurance 

The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) is exploring ways to strengthen collaboration with the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) in the area of the enforcement of the compulsory insurances in the country.

This prompted the courtesy visit by Commissioner for Insurance/Chief Executive Officer of the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) Mr. Olorundare Sunday Thomas on the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr. Kayode Egbetokun on Tuesday at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr Thomas said the visit was to explore ways of strengthening collaboration with the police in the areas of enforcement of compulsory insurances.

In his response, the IGP appreciated the support of the NAICOM with regards to the insurances of the Nigerian Police Force and promised to work closely with the Commission.
